Explore electrical energy in static and circuit form.

Get fully charged as we explore the properties of electrical energy. Students investigate the properties of static charge through a series of experiments using the Van De Graaff generator. They learn about conductors and insulators and are challenged to make electrical circuits, before applying their knowledge to create a game controller with the Makey Makey inventors kit.

In this program students will:

  • identify different sources of electrical energy
  • explore and create electrical circuits
  • investigate different electrical conductors and insulators.
