Nothing captures our imagination more than the dinosaurs that once ruled our planet. Become a palaeontologist for a day as we discover the secrets of past life on Earth.

Have you ever wondered how we know so much about dinosaurs, even though it’s been millions of years since they walked the Earth?

Students are invited to work as palaeontologists to discover, analyse, and interpret fossil evidence as they start to uncover the mystery of past life on our planet.

In this program students will:

  • analyse and interpret body and trace fossils
  • identify and record key features and adaptations of a variety of dinosaurs
  • discuss and apply the scientific method to fossils
  • compare features of past and present living animals
