Create and apply visual coding to generate mathematical solutions.

Students are challenged to apply coding skills and mathematical strategies to solve problems. Visual block coding is used with Dash robots to create and solve mathematical solutions based around their current unit of maths (place value, addition, subtraction, multiplication, subtraction, 2D shapes, angles, measurement).

In this program students will:

  • work in teams to problem solve, identify and test mathematical understanding
  • write a range of simple coding
  • measure distance
  • use angles in coding their robot
