A review of enzymes and how they are essential to photosynthesis and cellular respiration. We compare C3, C4 and CAM plants and adaptations to minimise photorespiration. We look at how CRISPR can be used to increase photosynthetic capabilities in plants and how biofuels are an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional fuel sources. We conclude by applying our knowledge and understanding to VCAA exam questions.
