What is energy? Where does it come from? How do we use it?

Students are guided through a series of hands-on investigations on energy generation and energy transformation.  They engage in learning conversations around electricity generation, renewable energies versus fossil fuels, and are challenged to think creatively about future energy solutions.

In this program students will:

  • identify different sources of electrical energy generation
  • investigate how moving air and water generates electricity
  • investigate how solar panels can generate electricity
  • reflect on personal electrical energy use.
