Exploring Robotics

Foundation – Year 1 – 2

Step 1 of 4

Students are introduced to robotics using Sphero Indi, a robot that uses colour sensors to respond to its environment.

Using problem solving skills, they are challenged to create successful sequences and patterns for Indi to travel.

In this program students will:

  • Use computational thinking to investigate different ways to solve problems.
  • Collaborate and make observations, ask questions and test understanding.
  • Use locational language to describe directions and movement.

Incursion programs are only available to schools classed as rural or metro disadvantaged by the Department of Education.
