It’s Electrifying

Year 5 – 6

Students investigate electricity as a form of energy and explore how it can be generated, transferred and used.

They will explore the origins of electricity, investigate how it flows through circuits and engineer solutions using their understanding of conductors and insulators.

In this program students will:

  • Investigate static electricity using a Van de Graff generator.
  • Identify and test conductors and insulators.
  • Create circuits to solve real-world problems.

This program is only available from Term 3 in 2027
