Reach to the moon and back in this exciting outreach program! Students will have a blast using 21st century problem solving and collaborative skills to design, engineer and launch their very own bottle rocket.

Rockets play an important role in our modern society by giving us further insight into the history and future of our planet. Students will work as rocket scientists/astronautical engineers to explore the physics of aerodynamics and the principles of flight (gravity, thrust, lift, and drag), before using the engineering design process to create and improve the performance of their rocket.

Note: This program is a 2 hour program for grades 5/6 and 90 minutes for 7-9. Only available for booking in term 1 and 4 for local schools only.
