How does wind make electricity? Explore turbines through VR then work as an engineer to design and build a wind turbine before visiting Waubra wind farm to get up and close with these amazing structures.

Wind and other clean, renewable energy will help end our reliance on fossil fuels and combat the severe threat that climate change. Are you up to the design challenge? 

The year is 2040. Climate change effects are now more apparent than ever before. The earth’s temperature continues to climb and with the call for the immediate cessation of fossil fuel power generation, we are at a crossroads. Your challenge is to work as an engineering team to design and build the most effective and efficient wind turbine using recycled material. 

Explore the earth and the impact of earthquakes using virtual and augmented reality and then take on the design challenge with your team. You have limited time, limited budget but unlimited potential.
