Scott Mangos & Damien Woods

VET Music Industry (Performance)

You’ve done all your SACs and Units of Competency, now it’s time for the performance exam. But what does that look like? What makes a good mark in VET Music? How is it different to the VCE Music mark?

Scott Mangos & Damien Woods

Damien Woods (Ballarat High School) and Scott Mangos (Mount Clear College) practice what they preach and consistently work in the live music industry as well as teaching VET Music Industry (Performance). With performances ranging from international tours with brass bands and playing big performance venues in Melbourne with big bands through to RSLs with cover bands and festivals with ska bands, between the two of these musicians there’s not many styles of performance and venues that they haven’t played in and it’s this knowledge that they bring to their many years of teaching and assessing VET Music Industry (Performance).
