Digital technologies

Students will explore interactive digital tools to better understand artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). They will investigate how AI models are trained through the collection of data, discuss how AI and ML can benefit society as well as consider the ethical implications of quick advancements in AI. 

In this program students will:

  • identify the differences between AI and other digital technologies 
  • gain a deeper understanding of AI by exploring AI tools such as deepfakes
  • train a machine to recognise images to improve decision-making and discuss how it can be used to solve 21st century problems.
  • explore a range of AI tools to understand how computers make predictions from datasets and algorithms.
