Students investigate the role plate movement has on the formation of natural disasters such as earthquakes. They complete a series of scientific and engineering challenges to apply knowledge of plate tectonics to real world scenarios.
In this program students will:
- explore geological changes in the formation of the Earth
- use VR to observe different forms of plate interactions
- retrofit buildings to withstand earthquakes
- collect and analyse data to predict earthquakes.
