What makes things change and what affects how fast they change? Students are introduced to the world of Chemistry and participate in hands-on laboratory experiences whilst exploring physical and chemical changes.

In this program students will:

  • understand the observable properties of solids, liquids, and gases
  • identify and classify materials based on their states of matter
  • differentiate between reversible and irreversible changes in materials
  • identify and apply the POE scientific inquiry techniques.
