Earth’s Changing Landscape

Year 3 – 4

Step 1 of 4

Students investigate the geological forces of erosion and weathering on the Earth’s landscape.

They will make field observations in Woowookarung Regional Park, use VR to explore coastal erosion, conduct weathering experiments and engineer solutions to erosion.

In this program students will:

  • Explore the differences between weathering and erosion.
  • Observe the effects of erosion and investigate ways to mitigate them.
  • Identify the agents of erosion and weathering that lead to a change to the landscape over time.
