Oh no, we have lost all our instructions on how to control Indi. Can you help us to solve the mystery of all the coloured tiles?
In small groups, students will explore the skills of problem solving to identify and record how their Indi robot is coded to react to each of the coloured tiles. Students then apply their understanding to complete the challenge of creating successful sequences and patterns for Indi to travel. Vroom, vroom!
In this program students will:
- use computational thinking to investigate different ways to solve problems
- collaborate, make and record observations, ask questions and test understanding
- represent and describe a sequence of steps (algorithm)
- use locational language to describe directions and movement
