Digital technologies

Students use visual coding to create algorithms including sequences, selections and loops to program a Lego EV3 battlebot. They experiment with the use of motors; ultrasonic and colour sensors and modify their robot for success.

In this program students will:

  • develop visual coding skills by using, manipulating and interpreting coding blocks
  • identify and resolve errors in code through logical reasoning
  • use conditional logic by utilising IF, THEN, ELSE statements.
