Earth science

Students discuss and explore a variety of natural disasters. They will work in teams through a series of scenarios working as scientific investigators to assess and report on the impacts on Disaster Island.

In this program students will:

  • use VR to investigate below the Earth’s crust
  • participate in live monitoring of seismic activity using the Earth Ed seismometer
  • collect data as evidence to determine stability of disaster island
  • prototype and control a rescue robot for earthquake assistance.

Acciona generously support this program through their donation of ClassVR resources.
